Tulsa HELP
 Tulsa HELP is a herpes support group in
Tulsa, Oklahoma! If
you have Herpes you are Not Alone! Tulsa HELP is a confidential and
free support group for people with genital herpes OR genital
warts.
Our Tulsa HELP group meets more on an individual,
person-to-person basis, as we have found that most of the folks
prefer to get support one-on-one or even online or over the phone.
If you found this page with your computer then you might consider
contacting an H Pal OR visiting one of the many online message
boards that we have listed in the sidebar.
We have discontinued in-person and online
herpes chat room meetings
If you need to talk with somebody about herpes please
utilize the national herpes hotline number listed below. We currently
have excellent online herpes support or you may contact

We also have a
herpes social group called
Oklahoma Friends where people get together
and plan activities, social events, and outings. Please keep in
mind that Oklahoma Friends and Tulsa HELP are not
herpes dating
services.
If you have
questions or would like to correspond with others that are
affected by herpes there is on online social and support group
called the
Oklahoma H
Club over on Yahoo. Be sure and pay close attention to your group membership
settings when you join. It's not our responsibility to maintain those
settings.
There are several options to choose from: individual
e-mails, daily digests, special notices, and no e-mail. When you choose no
e-mail you can read and respond to the messages through the web interface.
Please think twice before you choose to use your work
e-mail address. You are better off creating an alias account and using either
yahoo e-mail or google g-mail accounts. We don't want you to get in trouble at
work. If you do get in trouble at work please know that we are not
responsible.

The Tulsa HELP, ASHA and Herpes Resource
Connection!
Tulsa HELP is affiliated with the
Herpes Resource Center (HRC), a program of the American Social
Health Association (ASHA). Tulsa HELP exists to provide
information and support to people concerned about genital
herpes. All individuals who are seeking
information and support surrounding herpes concerns are welcome
to attend meetings.
Your confidentiality will be upheld. There
is NO FEE for the attendance or participation of a HELP Group
meeting. The links/referrals that are
non-ASHA related are provided as possible sources of information
and support. They do not reflect or represent ASHA or the HELP
Groups in any way.

you can get STD Testing done here in Tulsa
Please keep in
mind that not all STDS are included in the routine STD testing
process. If you want to be tested for herpes specifically then you will
need to ask for a herpes test. Be prepared for some healthcare providers
to tell you that they don't do herpes testing if there isn't a sore or
lesion that can be cultured. Many of these healthcare providers will not
know that there is such a thing as accurate type specific herpes blood
test. If that winds up being the case for you then be prepared to ask
that office or clinic where you may obtain an accurate herpes test via
the information that you have found on my
herpes testing page.
