I have tried that, I dont know what made me try it, i just figured it will kill whatever active lesion i had.. And last night I put it on and it worked well, im not gonna lie it stung like hell but in a way the stinging feels good, like its killing it.. seemed to make it dry up.. i like it, but the box says do not apply to mucous membranes? maybe its not smart to use?? is there any research on this??

It's not a good idea to use plain rubbing alcohol on genital skin. It's overly drying.

You would be better off using a tucks pad - apply it as a compress to the lesion for up to 10 minutes for relief. They have witch hazel in and also moisturizers to help protect the skin.
