About the PayPal Donate Button

Postby Yoshi2me » Sat Mar 24, 2007 1:00 pm

Your donation is not a tax deductible contribution because Yoshi2me.com is not a non profit organization.

In other words, your PayPal donation is considered a gift.

I will use all gift donations towards administrative costs such as the creating, printing, and postage of flyers, web site hosting costs, and any out of pocket expenses that have been incurred to help keep this site operating.

If you would prefer to think of it as a "tip" for the "tip jar" that is fine too.

Thanks so much,

Angela

My PayPal button wasn't even up for 24 hours and someone donated $20 - THANK YOU!!

This will cover the OOP postage expenses nicely. I will let you guys know when I run out of brochures to mail you, too.

A very nice person donated $10.00 to the tip jar.

What a wonderful thing to do!

Unfortunately I had to decline this gift because of how it was sent.

For some reason PayPal tends to want to force me to automatically upgrade from a personal PayPal account to a business one and I don't want to do that because they tend to charge up the yang when that happens.

I'd really like to keep my PayPal account on the personal level.

So please consider how you send the money via PayPal so that I can accept your very generous gift without having to upgrade.

As people do send monetary gifts I will come back and let y'all know what I did with the money and how this project benefits when you send in your gift.

Thank you so much!
