Social Event Details
in the Herpes Community
Feel free to send me your
2009 social event details and I'll get
those posted for you as soon as possible. I check my e-mail at least
once a day Monday through Friday unless I'm on vacation. I don't log
on as much on the weekends so please be patient if you send me an
announcement for a gathering to be posted before or during the
weekend. Contacting me with as much advanced notice as possible
works best.
The herpes social event details will

best to try and remember to send out a special notice to all the
members on
Picking Up the Pieces too. Hopefully, with the help and
support of one another this will help to increase all of our
marketing efforts.

 Australia's national herpes gathering is an informal get-together held over a 3 day weekend. It's a fun, supportive social function.
Initiated in 2003, the event's aim is to 'celebrate' life with herpes... because even with herpes life is worth celebrating.
This year's event will be held in the Byron Bay region of northern NSW. The main function will be held on Saturday evening - a catered dinner (BYO alcohol) and 60's themed party at a private venue.
PRE-PAID BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL
Registration Fee: $50
This goes towards venue hire, promotion and speaker fees.
The registration fee is to be paid ASAP by Paypal to jeanniemay[AT]gmail[DOT]com or email for bank direct deposit details.
Additional Costs:
Expenses for catered meals and activities are payable by 31 August 2009.
Accommodation, alcohol and meals (other than the catered dinner) are at your own expense and arrangement.

and foosball as well as happy hour specials and excellent food at

Location: Elwoods Dixie BBQ This Months Social Event is all about the HOT, as in Delicious BBQ and Smokin' Guitar Music.
We will be meeting on Saturday May 9 @ 7:00pm at Elwoods Dixie BBQ (AKA: Pierce Tire Co.). Elwoods features Delicious inexpensive food and a casual atmosphere. The Restaurant is located on Atlantic Ave in Delray Beach across from the
SunTrust Bank. Saturdays at Elwoods feature Guitarist Jason Colannino who is amazing and plays a wide variety of music. Please come on out and enjoy a "Smokin' Hot" good time.
The DFW Friends social group is hosting the 2009 Friends Over Texas event
May 14 – 17, 2009!! You can check out all the details at
www.dfwfriends.com. We're staying at the beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel in Grapevine, Texas. The hotel is just a couple of miles north of DFW Airport and provides a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel also provides a complimentary cooked to order breakfast each morning and a 2 hour happy hour each evening. All rooms are suites so if you want to split the cost you'll have plenty of room for roommates! The hotel is attached to the Bass Pro Shop and across the parking lot from the Grapevine Mills Mall. We've got lots of fun activities planned starting on Thursday evening and building through the weekend to Saturday nights Texas-sized dinner and dance!
