Herpes Awareness and STD Advocacy

I think it's important that people write letters to other people about the importance of STD awareness, STD education and share ideas on what we can do to make a difference in the lives of others. If you are somebody that is into writing letters but you never seem to get a response from those that you send your letters to then you might consider sending your letters of awareness to me so that I may post them on my site.

Every time a celebrity gets it wrong OR somebody that is high up on society's social ladder it's important to try and get their attention. Who knows, maybe somebody might see a letter that was written right here on my site and contact us to try and do something about it. I don't know, what do you think?

Do you remember that Fiasco comment she made on the View a few years ago?

So far the people at ABC have not responded to a single person that has contributed their thoughts on Joy Behar's ignorance of Herpes. Please continue to contact "The View" on ABC and then send me your letter so I can post it to this page for interested parties to read.

ABC might ignore every single one of your letters but those reading this site will not. Also, if you would like to share your letters written to other people in high positions that might be able to make a difference send me those letters as well.

For example: you might want to write to Dr. Phil or Oprah to encourage them to do a show educating the public about proper STD Testing. Perhaps you are upset with Jay Leno or Conan O'Brien for their negative comments about herpes on their late night television shows.

In Loving Memory of Drew

This page is dedicated to Drew. Drew was a young man of 27 with a full life ahead of him. Drew was a very handsome man, in the military and every reason to look forward to a long and happy life until he was diagnosed with herpes. In fall of 2000 Drew chose to end his life. Certainly there were other aspects to the emotional pains that lead to his taking his own life, but Herpes was the last straw. For all of you that would like to sound off and provide the world with what you would like to say in hopes of minimizing the social stigmas and perhaps making life a little easier -- preventing other tragedies such as Drew's, this page is just for you! Drew - You are missed and in your absence you ARE making a difference!
