Fort Stockton H Pal

Hi, My name is AnnaMarie and I live in Fort Stockton, Texas. I was diagnosed with HSV1 orally in 1977, and with HPV in the spring of 2004. I am a 31 year old single mother of a highly active 10 year old boy. I currently work for Walmart, doing sales calls for one of the home shopping channels as well as go to school.

My story is pretty basic. Was diagnosed with HPV and my long term boyfriend decided he was not happy in our relationship. I went through all the depression and feelings of being lost that most people seem to go through. I was able to pull out of it when I learned of my HSV diagnosis 27 years ago. My parents have never mentioned the word herpes in my life. Even the night I questioned my mother, she just said "yes, that's what you have." Talk about pulling teeth, I have an easier time getting my son to admit that he put a hole in the wall then getting my mother to admit I have Herpes.

When it was time for my removal procedure, I had to put a request for medical leave in at work. My boss refused to accept that I was having a personal medical procedure done in 3 weeks, and she refused to sign my papers for leave without knowing exactly what procedure I was having. I'll be the first to admit that I tend to be a little hot headed and I was getting upset because I wasn't ready to admit to anyone outside of my ex and my doctor that I had genital warts, but she was pushing hard. I ended up screaming at her in the middle of the back warehouse in my local Walmart that I was having my genital warts removed via a cut and burn procedure. I was a little graphic and within 10 minutes half the town knew about my private area issues. Since I ousted myself, I have been very open with my viral status. Kinda hard to hide it from anyone when I screamed it for half the town to hear. I am more then willing to talk about my viral STD's to anyone at anytime.

I work online and go to school online, so please feel free to contact me. If I don't have the answers you are looking for, I can find them. If you just want to talk, I'm here to listen. - AnnaMarie
