Charleston HELP

After doing some digging around on the net I discovered that the Charleston HELP group is no longer a herpes support group in South Carolina that actively meets any more. In other words, it's been discontinued. The facilitator that asked me to put this page together has not contacted me.

But, from what I understand people in the Charleston area are encouraged to contact the Columbia HELP group if you are in need of counseling services. In the meantime, I will go ahead and leave this page up as an example of the work that I can do for you should you decide you would like to start a herpes support group in your area.

I do not charge a fee to put these pages together. So, if you decide you would like to start support OR a social group in your neck of the woods but aren't sure how to network such a group - don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail If you are in desperate need of help please don't hesitate to visit my own personal STD Message Board where you may post your STD related questions there.

Since the internet is NOT a private place you will want to choose a screen name that only you will know about. Thanks you guys and I'm so sorry that I was not aware that the Charleston HELP group had been cancelled. Please note that Charleston HELP is not a Herpes Dating service.

Charleston HELP is affiliated with the Herpes Resource Center (HRC)

This is a program of the American Social Health Association (ASHA). Charleston HELP exists to provide information and support to people concerned about genital herpes. All individuals who are seeking information and support surrounding herpes concerns are welcome to attend meetings. Your confidentiality will be upheld.

There is NO FEE for the attendance or participation of a HELP Group meeting. The links or referrals that are non-ASHA related are provided as possible sources of information and support. They do not reflect or represent ASHA or the HELP Groups in any way.
